Which profession suits me? What is important in a contemporary job application? How do I make a good first impression? Visitors come to the fair with these and many other questions. You will find answers in the numerous specialised lectures and presentations held by various speakers at beruf & bildung. Afterwards, the speakers will of course be available to answer further questions.
Application check
Your application documents are like a business card. They should convince the company of your abilities and ideally result in an invitation to an interview. But what does a good, modern application actually look like? The problem: HR managers usually receive numerous applications every day - so it is important to stand out positively at first glance and not apply with "08/15″ documents. At the job fair, experts will check your application documents free of charge and provide helpful tips and recommendations.
Application photo service
The importance of the photo is underestimated by many applicants. A favorable photo can convey sympathy and competence and thus enormously increase the chances of being shortlisted. At the fair, you will therefore have the opportunity to have your perfect application photo taken by professionals.

Find the right course for you from thousands of options at the joint stand of Lower Saxony's universities! Anyone wishing to enrol at one of Lower Saxony's 31 universities can choose from over 1,600 courses, some of which are unique. But where can you find out about what's on offer? How do you get a place at university? And how can you finance your studies? So many questions – we have the answers! Qualified study advisors from various universities will be on hand at the exhibition stand to provide personalised and comprehensive advice on the study opportunities available at all universities in Lower Saxony.

The Career Compass makes it easy to find guidance for your career path. How does it work? Simply scan the QR code at the fair or here in the magazine, answer 10 short questions, and you will receive an evaluation of your strengths and skills. Based on this, you will be suggested exhibiting companies that match you and your interests. Now it's time to start talking and steer your career in the right direction!

Read our magazine carefully and answer the questions on page 37. Enter the letter of the correct answer in the corresponding field and you will have the solution word.
Then simply enter the solution word on the entry card, drop the completed card into our voting box at the information counter at the trade fair, and you'll be entered into the prize draw for 3 x £300!
MesseScouts
To help you find your way around the fair, pupils from IGS Stöcken and Erich-Kästner Oberschule Laatzen will be on hand as fair scouts. The young people will show anyone who is interested the highlights of the fair, answer visitors' questions and give tips for a particularly successful day at beruf & bildung. As fair guides on an equal footing, this service is extremely useful, especially for new visitors.

With the support of the IRC, the fair will offer advice on labour market integration for migrants and refugees, among other things, to help you start or return to working life.

At beruf & bildung, you will have the opportunity to meet companies and institutions from a wide range of industries, including trade, crafts, services, industry, consulting, media, IT, hotel and catering, finance, care, health and social services, insurance and the public sector. Universities, further education providers, chambers, associations and business networks will also be represented.
